Annunciation Psalms, Antiphons, and Chants for Year B includes entrance antiphons, responsorial psalms, and communion antiphons for Sundays during the seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter, along with solemnities and major feasts that occur within those seasons. The refrains are accessible for congregational participation and use stepwise motion along with consistent modes, melodic motives, and chant tones for each season. The chant tones are consistent throughout the season and make use of gentle dissonances and extended harmonies, with parts for cantor/psalmist, SATB choir (adaptable to smaller ensembles), guitar, and keyboard. Parishes or institutions may use the set in its entirety or elect to use any of the three (psalms, entrance or communion) as best fit their needs.
